Mama Africa

Her bloodline governance was appointed by nature. From birth she was instructed to hold the people, the land, and the living world in balance. Mambokadzi is the spirit, mind, emotion, and body of her people's struggle made manifest in this time. She is a sovereign matriarch leading from the spiritual realm to execute in the physical world.

Over the past 40 + years Mambokadzi has worked as a specialist in institutional and community development in Northern and Southern Ireland using hands-on corporate governance and administered representation as tools for transparent community progress and stakeholder impact. She is the first Black woman in Northern Ireland to:

  • advocate about racism and human rights in political forums

  • establish the first Black organisations - the NIACC and ACSONI

  • own Black hairdressing salons in Belfast, these served both Black and White patrons.

On her first visit to the United States, Mambokadzi was the first sovereign ruler to visit the:

  • Roots Charter School

  • Ujamaa School

  • African American National Museum
